Commissions

PAINTED ESPECIALLY FOR YOU. 100% RISK FREE

These bespoke creations are crafted for both interior designers and private collectors, tailored to suit specific visions and spaces. A commission can be inspired by an existing piece but perhaps adapted in size, color palette, or subject matter or it can be entirely original.

I love doing commissions. They often peak new challenges, and its always a pleasure to see the joy in a clients response to their new piece.

How Does it Work?

Start by sending me a few details about what you’re looking for. For abstract commissions, it’s often helpful to reference a piece you've seen in my gallery or even something from elsewhere that has inspired you.

Exceptional Value & Custom Sizing

With every painting I create, I’m committed to offering outstanding value for money. To keep costs accessible, I maintain an inventory of 20 standard canvas sizes.

If your space requires a non-standard size, that’s no problem—I also build custom canvases and import high-quality stretchers. This flexibility ensures that a tailored solution is always possible without excessive cost.

The most popular Canvas sizes I use are those which I stock... 75cm x 100cm, 100cm x 100cm, 120cm x 120cm, 120cm x 100cm, 160cm x 60cm, 140cm x 100cm, 160cm x 100cm, 190cm x 100cm, 150cm x 150cm, 200cm x 80cm, 150cm x 120cm, 200cm x 80cm. How about these whoppers? 180cm x 180cm, 140cm x 180cm, 280cm x 170cm, 270cm x 120cm, 240cm x 100cm, 240cm x 120cm, 250cm x 150cm, 270cm x 100cm and 295cm x 100cm. But I have made custom sizes way beyond those....6m x 1m, 4m x 2m, 3.6m x 2m, 3m x 3m to name a few.

You Say Risk Free?

For most commissioned pieces—unless they’re highly unusual or deeply personal—there is no risk to you. I typically require a 20% deposit to begin the process.

Upon completion, I’ll send you photos for review before any varnish is applied. Upon your approval, I will apply the final varnish finish, externally frame (if required) and of course sign the work. The remaining balance is then settled, and your artwork is carefully packaged and shipped with full tracking and insurance.

If, for any reason, you’re not happy with the finished piece, I’ll refund your deposit—no questions asked—and the artwork will be added to my shop stock.

How Much Does it Cost?

This is a really tricky one, but in general terms, if you find a comparable style piece in my store, and comparable complexity, your commissioned piece will be in a similar ballpark.

How Long Does it Take?

Most commissions are typically completed within 4 to 6 weeks. However, I understand that timelines can vary, and I’m always flexible to accommodate your specific needs. While I generally aim for a balanced schedule, I’ve even completed commissions on the same day when necessary—though this is an exception rather than the norm.

Rest assured, my priority is to provide excellent service and deliver your artwork in a timely manner.

Shipping and Delivery

Depending on the size of the piece, I offer local delivery options as well as trusted international shipping services.

Every piece is carefully packaged and shipped with full insurance for your peace of mind. For exceptionally large works, if you’d like professional installation, I can help arrange that as well—just let me know, and we can get it done.
